I don’t know if all dogs do this or if it’s just the flat-faced breeds that I love…but Hazel started doing something that Chris (the farm-dog-guy) had never seen before. I will always remember my childhood Boston Terrier, Oliver, getting in that hyper mood in the evenings and running full-speed through the hallways of our house. Secretly, I’ve been waiting for Hazel’s first hyper run because I LOVE it!!! They get this crazy look in their eyes and it’s like they don’t care what the hit, run, or slide into–nothing is slowing them down! I was in DC this week for work and I talked to a customer who has a Boston…he said in his house they call it “Race Dog Speedway“. A perfect description!
Race Dog Speedway
It was kind of a tough week being away from Chris and Hazel, so discovering this video on the video camera when I got home made me really, really happy! It looks like the two of them had some good bonding time without me. 🙂 Please disregard the ladder in the middle of our house…I promise we don’t use it as furniture.
Also, Chris was a single parent at puppy training this week, but it didn’t seem to affect Hazel’s learning…she can now SIT on command! Oh the little things in life… 🙂

Love it! My Bruiser is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix and every night he gets his burst of energy he has to let out before bed! So funny!!!!!
