Last summer at a playdate, a mom friend of mine was raving about a new deodorant she had tried called Native. I heard the words “natural” and “fewer ingredients” and automatically decided that it wasn’t heavy duty enough for my post-partum hormones. Over the next few months I heard more and more people talking about Native, posting about it on social media–and my intrigue grew a little each time. I finally decided that I had nothing to lose (hello, free returns!), and I ordered the classic Coconut & Vanilla scent. And well, I guess you could say the rest is history, because it’s all I’ve used since.
So what do you need to know about Native Deodorant?
First of all, it’s made with fewer, simpler ingredients–and it’s aluminum-free. Aluminum has been linked to certain types of cancer as well as Alzheimer’s…so why would I want to slather it on my body every day?!?
It smells amazing! Native comes in 4 great classic scents, plus an array of fun seasonal scents. Coconut & Vanilla is my go-to, but I’ve also loved Rosé, Strawberry & Rhubarb, and most recently: Pumpkin Spice Latte. If you want to try out a few to see what you like best, the sample packs are the way to go!
It works! Through morning workouts & full days of “momming”–it keeps me smelling good (sometimes with hints of pumpkin, clove and nutmeg…ha!) all the while. If you need more evidence, check out Native’s 6,000+ 5 star reviews.
Here’s to smelling good and making safer choices for our bodies 🙂
